let's start with a conversation

Whether you're ready to begin or simply have a question, you're welcome to get in touch.

arrange a discovery call

A free 30-minute conversation, online via Zoom.

The easiest way to begin is a Discovery Call. It’s a chance to talk over what you’re looking for, ask anything you want to ask, and get a sense of whether working together feels right. It also gives me a little understanding of your situation and what’s brought you to coaching.

There’s no obligation to go further. Some people come with a clear idea of what they want; others simply want to think something through and see whether coaching would help. If it seems useful, we can talk about which way of working suits you best.

Investing in Yourself

Most people invest steadily in their work, their responsibilities, and the people who depend on them. Coaching is a chance to invest in yourself for a change: in your own thinking, your development, and the direction you want your work and life to take.

Whether you’re moving through a transition, growing into a role, weighing an important decision, or working towards something that matters to you, coaching gives you dedicated time to think, plan, and move forward with more clarity and intention than the day-to-day usually allows.

When you get in touch

You don’t need to prepare anything in advance. A short message about what’s brought you to coaching is plenty for us to begin.

I usually respond within two working days. If you’d rather not use the form, you’re very welcome to contact me directly by phone or email.

There’s no pressure to decide anything on the spot. A first conversation is exactly that: a conversation, to see whether this is right for you. If it turns out coaching isn’t what you need, I’ll say so, and where I can I’ll point you towards something that fits better.

I work with people,
not sectors.

How the coaching works

Coaching with me doesn’t follow a fixed programme. Some people come for a single conversation about one specific thing; others work with me across several months. What suits you depends on what you’re bringing and what you’re hoping to think through, and we shape it together rather than fitting you to a template.

Sessions usually run 90 to 120 minutes, and are often spaced three or four weeks apart. That spacing is deliberate: it gives you time between conversations to let things settle, try things out, and notice what’s changed, so each session builds on the last rather than starting cold.

All coaching takes place online via Zoom, which means we can work together wherever you are, in London, elsewhere in the UK, or overseas. In my experience the work is every bit as thoughtful, collaborative, and useful online as it is in person, and it lets you choose a coach on fit rather than on who happens to be nearby.

Common Questions

Is this coaching or therapy?

Coaching. My background is as a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, so I can work at real depth and hear what sits beneath a problem, but I keep the work firmly as coaching: focused on you, your goals, and where you want to get to, rather than on treating difficulty. I know precisely where that line sits, and I hold it. You get the benefit of psychological understanding without the conversation quietly turning into therapy.

Who do you work with?

I work with people, not sectors. What my clients tend to share isn’t a job title but a situation: a period of change or growing responsibility, an important decision, a question of direction, or a sense that a familiar way of working or living no longer quite fits. They usually value thoughtful conversation over ready answers, and depth over performance.

What makes your coaching different?

I bring a depth of psychological understanding that most coaches don’t, built over more than 25 years across psychology, psychotherapy, and coaching. In practice that means I can help you understand why something has been difficult, not just what to do about it, which is usually what allows anything real to change. I’d also rather a conversation was genuinely useful than that it sounded impressive.

Do you work with people outside London?

Yes. All coaching takes place online via Zoom, so we can work together wherever you are, in London, elsewhere in the UK, or overseas. In my experience the work is every bit as thoughtful and useful online as in person, and it lets you choose a coach on fit rather than on who happens to be nearby.

How long are sessions, and how often?

Sessions usually run 90 to 120 minutes. A single Focused Coaching Session is one-off; ongoing coaching is typically every two to four weeks; Thinking Space is usually monthly. The spacing is deliberate, giving you time between conversations to let things settle and try things out, so each session builds on the last.

What happens after a Discovery Call?

There’s no obligation to continue. If it seems coaching would be useful, we’ll talk about which way of working suits you best. If it wouldn’t, I’ll say so, and where I can I’ll point you towards something that fits better. Some people use the call simply to decide whether coaching is their next step at all.
